The Wiedmann Bible on Tour
ART-Edition for the Evangelical Church A.B. in Romania
Two years ago Erika Klemm could not resist. She had to come back to the booth of this unique visual narrative of the Bible. It fascinated and inspired her.
The surprise was huge when she received an email a few weeks ago. Martin Wiedmann asked if the Evangelical Church Romania would give him the honor to accept the Wiedmann Bible ART-Edition as a gift from him. Erika Klemm did not have to think twice. The EKR is a German-speaking Church in Romania.
On June 16th the time had come. Martin Wiedmann and his family arrived in Hermannstadt, Romania. Amongst the first ones to see the Wiedmann Bible were kids and officials. After a service at the Johanniskirche, Martin Wiedmann gifted the ART-Edition to the EKR.
It is the first Wiedmann Bible in Romania and highly appreciated as devotional paintings have a long tradition there.
The Wiedmann Bible ART-Edition is now showcased at the state consistory in Hermannstadt, Romania.
